VIP Host Programs & High-Touch Guest Systems

The feeling of being remembered, built to scale.

For 20+ years I've built the systems behind VIP host programs and high-touch guest experiences, from Hamptons luxury estates to a 41-property casino enterprise. The craft is the same wherever it's applied: turning a great host's instincts into a structure that scales, so the feeling of being remembered doesn't depend on which person is on shift.

Plum Couch Hospitality

What I help with

The goal is to spread the feeling of being remembered to more guests, not just the ones a favorite host already knows by name. But you have to earn the right to scale it first. This is the plumbing underneath that — the Host Reach Model, built fractional or project-based depending on what your program needs.

Diagnostic

I review the coding methodology, comp reinvestment, and the team itself to find where the program is leaking value. Who's getting a host's time and whether it's the right call, in plain numbers.

Program design

I build the system from the ground up: coding criteria for who deserves a host, player-level goals built from real play history, reinvestment logic that says what a comp is actually supposed to buy, and the visibility to put it all in one place so a host can run their book like a business.

Host training

I train the hosts myself. Not a slide deck handed to a third party. How to run a book like a business, what great hosts already do, and how to make it repeatable across a team.

20+ years across regional and destination gaming

I grew up near the Badlands of South Dakota, where hospitality wasn't branded, it was just life. Years later I was in the back office of a bankrupt casino mid-rebrand, giving away 80% of a 530-room resort some nights with no idea what I was doing. Since then I've built and rebuilt player development and VIP programs across Penn National, Pinnacle Entertainment, Ameristar, and Inspirato, from single properties to a multi-property enterprise.

If your host program depends on a few key people, it's not a system yet.

Let's talk about what a more consistent, measurable program would look like for your property or portfolio.
